Public Workshops/Meetings

Overview: Two (2) Public Workshops were held where the public had an opportunity to view study activities and provide input.  These workshops were held at key project mileposts throughout the study.  In addition, one joint meeting of the Town of Bolton Board of Selectmen and Planning and Zoning Commission will be held on April 24th, 2008 to review the draft plan and gain input.  This meeting will also be open to the public.

Targeted Stakeholder Outreach Interviews

Targeted stakeholder outreach interviews were conducted to ensure comprehensive representation from all stakeholders in the Bolton area. Dialogue took place in early December, 2007 with a variety of individuals with a broad range of perspectives on the land use and transportation system not necessarily represented on the Study Oversight Committee or who might not need to be involved throughout the study.

Study Oversight Committee Meetings

Throughout the study a Corridor Study Oversight Committee (SOC) met and provided input to the planning process.  The Committee had nine members that included town officials, local business owners, and Bolton residents.  Their contributions were extremely valuable both during meetings and while supporting other study activities.  The SOC membership included:
